Jessica Price

I am passionate about reading, writing, and teaching. I have a Bachelor’s in Communications/English and a Master’s in Professional Writing. My experience started as a writer/editor for newspapers, magazines, and online media. I have two published non-fiction books and numerous published articles, but my true calling is in the classroom (virtual or in person), teaching students about writing and sharing my love of reading with others. In addition, I’ve taught for seven years and absolutely love watching students grow as writers, as well as, seeing them find joy in reading stories. I’m trained in the Wilson Reading System and Wilson Just Words and have experience teaching students with dyslexia and dysgraphia in the classroom and in private tutoring.

I live in Arkansas with my husband, two children, and two dogs. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me with my nose in a book or my boots on a trail. I love all things outdoors, from hiking and camping, to kayaking and water skiing. I never turn down an adventure whether it is road tripping across the country or jumping out of a perfectly good airplane.  Perhaps my love of adventure is why I also love reading. Every book is a journey, and I can’t wait to explore with you!
