Progress Not Perfection
We are focused on our students progressing at their own specific pace because each of them are unique individuals with their own strengths and weaknesses.
We assess our students when they enter our school and this dictates where we start with them with regard to the instruction they receive. We provide progress monitoring continuously throughout the year and provide parents weekly feedback in their student’s GREATNESS Reports.

Year-Round Calendar
Our Year-Round Calendar is an example of our commitment to our students’ overall success. We keep students engaged in learning every month throughout a calendar year. Ultimately, our finish line is high school graduation.
We view our continuum of learning as a marathon, not a sprint. We are proud of our Year-Round Calendar and believe that it helps our teachers and students continue to be refreshed and ready to teach and learn.

From August - May our students go to school Monday - Friday. During the summer months of June - July our students attend Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Small Classes Sizes
We believe providing our students with Individual Attention is important to their ultimate academic success.
All of our students receive 1:1 attention at some point during each class.
Our Structured Literacy groups are limited to no more than 3 students and in our other academic classes/groups there are 6 or fewer students.
